MA/MS in Classics and Ancient Civilizations (Research): Classics

Seminars involve students directly in research on ancient history, philosophy, and Greek and Latin literature, drawing on a Classics tradition at the university dating back to 1575. External lecturers teach specialised topics, and a regular lecture series brings in national and international speakers, alongside collaboration with classicists from other universities through the National Research School in Classics. The curriculum covers Renaissance Latin, ancient history, ancient philosophy, aesthetics, rhetoric, linguistics, and Greek and Latin literature as traditional Classics topics, as well as newer approaches such as cognitive theory and digital classics.
