MA/MS in Classics and Ancient Civilizations (Research): Egyptology

This two-year research master's specialisation in Egyptology, a branch of the research programme in Classics and Ancient Civilizations, offers a multidisciplinary look at the cultures, literatures and languages of Ancient Egypt, taught by researchers active in the field's current projects. Students can tailor their study programme by combining courses from the Egyptology specialisation with others from related research master's programmes in the humanities and archaeology faculties, and are encouraged to spend time abroad, for example through research programmes in Cairo or elsewhere in Europe, participation in excavations in Egypt, or a museum internship.
