This specialisation combines theories about learning problems and impairments with diagnostic skills and intervention and prevention strategies, viewed from a developmental perspective. It addresses the need for professionals in pre-schools and schools who can define learning difficulties and find evidence-based solutions, covering the recognition and treatment of difficulties such as dyslexia, hyperlexia, and dyscalculia, along with those linked to ADHD, ADD, or speech and language disorders. Training builds knowledge and skills relevant to research, teaching, or clinical practice.
