MA/MS in History

The master's in History offers a broad curriculum with the opportunity to focus on niche subject areas, and a flexible format that allows the degree to be shaped around individual career goals. Seven specialisations, each with its own thematic focus, help build a cohesive area of expertise, supported by a faculty that holds a dedicated chair covering almost every field of European and non-European history, spanning nearly every period between Classical Antiquity and today. Small-scale classes and intensive mentoring give access to that expertise both in and outside the classroom. All subjects carry a strong international orientation, building a broad, comparative dimension to students' knowledge and connecting it to current global events.
