Overview
This master's programme addresses the fact that civil engineering projects such as sustainable housing, dike improvement, railway networks and large water-management works depend on more than technical feasibility, also requiring attention to safety, logistics, budgeting and price control, environmental impact, land expropriation, policy, and sustainability and circularity. It trains engineers as process thinkers able to oversee, analyse and predict the different aspects of designing and executing civil engineering projects, with specialisation options covering hydraulic and geo-structures, sustainability and resilience, transport, water, or construction management, combining technical and non-technical aspects of project planning, design, realisation and maintenance.
