BA/BS in Chemical Science & Engineering

This bachelor's programme trains the next generation of chemists to create the processes and materials needed for sustainable energy, chemical production, drinking-water supply and advances in medicine. Coursework spans the design of advanced materials, bio-organic chemistry, and the operation of chemical processes, preparing graduates to work on problems from microscopic chemical structures to the maintenance and design of full-scale reactors and industrial installations. Possible outcomes include developing new energy-saving processes or contributing to batteries able to store and deliver electrical power efficiently.
