Overview

The master's combines theoretical coursework with practical training across the physics, dynamics and chemistry of oceans, the atmosphere and the cryosphere, as well as the interactions between them. Teaching zeroes in on the core physical processes underlying the Earth's climate system, aiming to train highly skilled researchers, and the complexity of the subject means advanced mathematical skills are required from the outset of the programme.
