MA/MS in Physics and Astronomy: Science for Energy and Sustainability

This two-year track within the Chemistry master's programme combines natural-science research with analysis of related societal issues, business questions and regulation, aiming to give students the knowledge to move from understanding current energy and sustainability research toward developing new sustainable technologies that can be applied in society. It is a joint degree offered together with Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, with courses taught at locations of both universities, who jointly issue the degree certificate. Students draw on the combined expertise, networks and research projects of both universities and their affiliated research institutes.
