Program details

Overview

This bachelor's track, part of the Built Environment programme, focuses on the efficient use of energy and resources in cities and districts, covering practices such as reusing demolition materials when redeveloping neighbourhoods and using waste heat from data centres to heat homes. Students learn to design this kind of sustainable solution and to advise municipalities or companies on applying it, working toward the Netherlands' target of full circularity by 2050. It is an international track focused on construction expertise in circularity, with teaching and project work bringing together students and lecturers from around the world, and all lessons are taught in English.
