Are you ready to make a positive change in Europe? Combine your interest in the EU, love of foreign coun­tries and talent for co­op­er­a­tion in the English-taught HBO bachelor European Studies. You’ll gather knowl­edge and skills needed to tackle societal chal­lenges in Europe.

We’ll teach you about pol­i­cy­mak­ing, European bodies, the po­lit­i­cal field and how in­ter­na­tional co­op­er­a­tion works in the European Union. What you learn will be directly applied in projects, which will help you gain more ex­pe­ri­ence. You will also study German, French or Spanish and dif­fer­ent cultures through­out your studies. You will also do an in­tern­ship and complete part of your European Studies degree abroad. This will prepare you for an in­ter­na­tional career where you can start making a dif­fer­ence.

Thinking like an in­ter­na­tional en­tre­pre­neur – that’s what our English-taught In­ter­na­tional Business bachelor is all about. Through­out the course, you’ll learn to think both cre­atively and crit­i­cally. In­ter­na­tional business is about spotting op­por­tu­ni­ties, working together smartly, and building global con­nec­tions. And you’ll learn by doing: from day one, you’ll work on real-life as­sign­ments for actual com­pa­nies.

The pro­gramme is entirely in English – and rightly so since half of your fellow students come from abroad and you’ll be prepar­ing for a career in the in­ter­na­tional business world. You’ll speak English all day, giving you im­me­di­ate insight into how people from dif­fer­ent cultures think and work.

Smart use of energy and re­sources in cities and dis­tricts. That’s what you’ll study in Circular Cities & Com­mu­ni­ties. You know, it is possible to use de­mo­li­tion ma­te­ri­als when re­plac­ing an old neigh­bour­hood with a new one. And waste heat from a data centre can be used to heat houses. Soon, you’ll be coming up with these kinds of great green and sus­tain­able so­lu­tions too! And you’ll advise mu­nic­i­pal­i­ties or com­pa­nies on them.

This in­ter­na­tional track is part of our Built En­vi­ron­ment pro­gramme. It is the only pro­gramme in Europe for con­struc­tion experts in cir­cu­lar­ity. And these experts are urgently needed – many people are looking for housing, while at the same time we want to be 100 per cent circular by 2050. So, bring on your cre­ativ­ity! Circular Cities & Com­mu­ni­ties is an in­ter­na­tional course. You will study and work with students and teachers from all over the world during our green building bachelor program. That’s why all lessons are taught in English.

Do you dream of a musical career? At the Conservatorium Maastricht you will develop your musical talent and prepare yourself for an international career. You can choose from Classical Music or Jazz. This master's pro­gramme offers a unique com­bi­na­tion of the two dis­ci­plines of Facility and Real Estate Man­age­ment. In the Master's pro­gramme in Interior Ar­chi­tec­ture, you will learn to develop a concept for a space based on your own ideas and artistic vision and to realise that concept. An im­por­tant part of this is how you present your con­clu­sions as an es­sen­tial part of your ar­chi­tec­tural design. For each as­sign­ment, you will be asked to make con­nec­tions between your own work and that of others, and between your work and the public.
