Overview

The bachelor in conducting combines main-instrument study with conducting subjects, so students develop as conductors as well as instrumentalists or singers. The 240-credit full-time programme is built around music, performance and leadership, and students learn to work independently and with professional musicians and fellow students. Students learn to lead ensembles of different sizes and to express their commitment to them. The programme prepares graduates for a music sector that needs versatile musical leaders and for artistic work in many settings.
