The one-year continuing education course in computer engineering is a top-up for engineers from other fields who want to qualify for the master's programme in Applied Computer Science. It is taught in Narvik and built from selected 5 to 10 credit courses of the ordinary bachelor's programme in computer engineering, with a standard workload of 30 credits per semester.
The course follows the national framework for engineering education. Most courses have work requirements that give exam eligibility once met, and some require attendance for laboratory activity.
