MA/MS in Religionsvitenskap

Religious studies is the historical and systematic study of religion as a cultural phenomenon, with a cross-cultural and comparative approach. It treats religion as a distinct human phenomenon rather than only as a set of separate religions, and works as an entry point to ideas and behaviour traditions in a global perspective. The master's programme deepens students' knowledge of theoretical and methodological questions in the field and gives in-depth study of an elective topic of historical or systematic character. It is a full-time, 120-point programme leading to Master i religionsvitenskap.
