Cert in Samfunnsøkonomisk analyse

The one-year introduction to economics teaches students to analyse markets and the economy as a whole, including the effects of economic policy on prices, incomes, employment, interest rates and exchange rates. Students learn key economic concepts and models in micro and macroeconomics. Elective topics include environmental economics, development economics, international economics, welfare and economic policy, and economic history. The programme combines compulsory and optional courses and is taught by researchers active in public debate. The programme is full-time, 60 ECTS credits, taught on campus. It can be part of a bachelor's degree in economics or a five-year master's in economic analysis, and it can also be taken as continuing education.
