Bachelor of Sciences in Mathematics

The BSc in Mathematics at A'Sharqiyah University prepares students for careers in fields that rely on a strong grounding in mathematics and its applications. It follows Oman Vision 2040 and backs the Omanization drive by increasing the number of skilled Omani professionals in the public and private sectors, particularly in mathematics-related work. The programme gives students a broad understanding of mathematical topics while letting them specialise in advanced areas of interest. The plan is organised by semester, with Fall and Spring terms each year and room for programme electives. First-year courses include calculus, discrete mathematics, linear algebra, principles of mathematics, physics with laboratories, and communication skills. Students build mathematical, analytical, communication and entrepreneurial abilities that they can apply across education, science, medicine, business and related industries. The full plan carries 120 credit hours.
