MSc Chemical Process Engineering

This Chemical Process Engineering MSc is a postgraduate programme of the engineering college of the National University in Oman, run in partnership with the University of South Carolina in the United States; the degree itself is awarded by the Omani university. The programme builds a clear understanding of chemical and process engineering through advanced core courses relevant to the changing needs of modern process industries. These cover areas such as reaction engineering, transport phenomena and process simulation, alongside applied process design and instrumentation. Students complete 45 credit hours to earn the MSc. Graduates are prepared for work as chemical and process engineers, in plant operations, in management or as consultants, and can help process industries work more effectively and efficiently. The programme aims to give a comprehensive approach to inventing, designing, optimising and operating sustainable chemical processes, with familiarity with research under way in industry.
