BS - Animation

Taught in English at the Scientific College of Design, this Animation programme leads to a Bachelor of Science and runs for four years. It focuses on animation filmmaking in several forms and techniques, and it gives students room to build a personal style through sustained practice alongside theory. The stated mission is to teach animation design fundamentals and the telling of stories through visuals so that students can strengthen their own artistic voice and pursue a professional career. The study plan starts with design studio, drawing, photography and computer graphics, then moves into the fundamentals of animation design, cutout animation, cell animation and character design. Later courses cover film production and video editing, and students take entrepreneurship and an animation design internship. The college is institutionally accredited by OAAAQA and overseen by MoHERI, and the degree has a NASAD substantial-equivalency statement and a quality assurance certificate from a commission in Jordan.
