Overview

Qatar University's Graduate Certificate in Biomedical Sciences is a one-year program made up of courses also taught within the Master of Biomedical Science degree, run across two tracks, Laboratory Management and Advanced Clinical Practice, and designed as a stepping stone toward the master's degree for students who need to build up their academic standing first. Students with an undergraduate GPA between 2.0 and 2.79 can enter the certificate, which enrolls once each Fall, and the 12 credit hours completed count toward the MSc in Biomedical Sciences if the student is later admitted. To move on to the master's program, certificate students must finish holding a 3.2-or-higher GPA, at which point they can apply for admission to the MSc track.
