Cert in Air Conditioning Systems Foundations

Air Conditioning Systems Foundations introduces the basic theory and hands-on practice behind the domestic repair of air conditioners and refrigerators, giving learners a starting point for work in home cooling and refrigeration maintenance. The short course combines theoretical instruction with practical repair work, building the foundational competence needed before progressing to more advanced refrigeration and air-conditioning study, and graduates typically move into entry-level technician roles or continue on to the follow-up Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems course. Entry requires passes (Grades 1 to 4) in Mathematics and English A; applicants aged 25 and over can instead qualify through an interview and a prior-learning assessment, contingent on passing that interview.
