MA Leadership

The Master of Arts in Leadership is a 64-credit-hour programme at East Asia School of Theology in Singapore. It prepares men and women to lead in ministry settings in a way that respects cultural differences, drawing on the study of Scripture and foundational Christian teaching together with applied ministry experience. The programme works on two fronts. One is leader formation, which covers spiritual life, personal growth and character. The other is leadership development, which covers the knowledge and skills a leader needs. Both are pursued in the context of biblical and doctrinal study. It is meant for people who want to serve and guide others and to grow as leaders, including leaders in congregations, parachurch organisations, mission agencies and workplace ministry. Study starts with a summer term called EAST Aleph and then follows a year-by-year sequence of semesters. Applicants follow the school's general application process and the admission standards for this degree.
