Master of Divinity

The Master of Divinity is a demanding postgraduate programme for graduates who want a deep command of Scripture, working knowledge of the biblical languages and a thorough grasp of Christian doctrine. Students learn to analyse and reflect on the questions the church faces today. Ministry skills are developed in parallel, including leadership, preaching, teaching, pastoral care, discipleship and missions. The programme also lets students concentrate on particular areas of interest and study them in greater depth. Teaching takes place mainly on campus in Singapore, and many courses can also be taken online in an asynchronous format. Students without a theological degree complete 90 credits across 30 courses, over three years full-time or up to nine years part-time. Students with a theological degree complete 60 credits across 20 courses, over two years full-time or up to six years part-time.
