Master of Ministry

The Master of Ministry has been offered at Trinity Theological College since 1975 and gives practising pastors further theological training. It was created because congregations were becoming better educated and society was changing quickly, which called for more thoughtful, better prepared leadership from senior pastors. Courses build on a student's earlier theological degree and time in ministry. They aim to encourage reflection, strengthen personal faith, raise professional skills and deepen biblical and theological grounding, with an emphasis on applying what is learned in real ministry settings while keeping academic standards high. Classes bring together students from different countries and church traditions, who share experiences with one another and often form lasting friendships. A full load allows completion in one year, and residents of Singapore may take up to two years.
