Program details
Overview
This joint doctoral programme is run by NTU's Lee Kong Chian medical school together with the University of Exeter. Both universities offer fully funded postgraduate scholarships for collaborative research projects carried out at the two universities, leading to a PhD conferred by either one.
Students are enrolled at a single university, where they spend most of their time, and they spend at least 12 months, but no longer than 18, at the partner. How often and how long they stay at each is settled with successful candidates before offers are made. The host university decides who is selected for each project, and the lead host's regulations apply to the student.
Candidates of any nationality may apply. The programme is full-time, and the main supervisor works at the lead host.
