Master of Education (Learning Sciences and Artificial Intelligence)

The Learning Sciences and AI specialisation of the Master of Education is run by the National Institute of Education and draws on the learning sciences to help educators make sense of learning, and to design it, in an educational landscape where AI is widely present. The specialisation trains educators and learning designers to think about how teaching will change as AI becomes common. Rooted in the learning sciences, it shows how AI and other technologies can be woven into lesson design and classroom practice so that learning stays meaningful. Learners develop the knowledge and skills to evaluate emerging approaches critically and to advance innovative learning practices across educational contexts. It is one of 16 specialisations within the Master of Education, a degree intended mainly for teachers employed by schools in Singapore or by the Ministry of Education. Study is available full-time or part-time.
