Master of Science in Financial Technology

This coursework master's degree is hosted by the physical and mathematical sciences school at NTU and draws on information technology, data science and artificial intelligence. It gives students the technology skills needed to work in a finance industry that is being reshaped by new innovations. The programme concentrates on disruptive technologies in finance: automation (for example robo-advisors), cryptography (for example blockchain) and digital financial services (for example financial inclusion). Students choose between two specialisations, Intelligent Process Automation and Digital Financial Services. Full-time students finish in a year, while part-time students need two years, across three trimesters per academic year. Courses run in intensive seven-week blocks at the NTU main campus, held in the evenings on weekdays or on Saturdays. A solid first degree in a quantitative or business subject is expected.
