This second-cycle programme continues the first-cycle study of cosmetics, although entry is also possible after certain other degrees under set conditions. It addresses the gap between aesthetic surgery and dermatology on one side and cosmetics on the other, and responds to the growing complexity of products and devices in the beauty industry.
Students deepen their knowledge of the medical foundations of cosmetics, dermatology, infectious diseases and hygiene, nutrients, cosmetic substances, products and technologies, biophysics, research and measurement methods, and stress management. Building on this, they work on advanced and complex cosmetic care. Elective courses lead towards pre-operative and post-operative cosmetic care or special cosmetic care, for example in support of medical treatment, and these can be combined with device-based techniques.
The curriculum is arranged over two years, and graduates receive the title Magister kozmetike or Magistrica kozmetike.
