— it helps other students.
The syllabus is clearly interdisciplinary and research-based, combining management and economics, engineering and technology, informatics and environmental science. Its parts are required subjects, obligatory electives, free electives, and group and individual projects.
Instruction takes the form of compact intensive courses, seminars and lab exercises. Slovene is the teaching language, although particular courses switch to English when enough English-speaking students register. A credit system sets what each degree requires and gives students and mentors most of the say over subject choice.
To finish, candidates sit all required exams, complete project work and successfully defend a master's thesis. Entry normally follows a related first degree, applicants from other fields may be asked to sit additional exams, and the page links to the curriculum. The award is a master's degree equivalent to a Master of Science.
