Overview

The one-year Master of Laws (60 credits) in European Economic Law looks at EU law from the internal market perspective, combining competition law, financial law and social law. Courses are taught by Stockholm University professors and researchers, guest professors, judges and advocates general from the European Court of Justice, and leading Swedish practitioners. The programme gives advanced knowledge of substantive European economic law together with a theoretical and methodological base for independent research or qualified legal work. It has existed for 30 years and suits lawyers who want to advance in EU-related careers, including those working outside the Union.
