Bachelor Mechatronics

The Bachelor programme in Mechatronics combines the classic engineering disciplines of mechanical engineering, electronics and computer science. Full-time study takes six semesters, while part-time and PiBS study takes eight. Full-time study is possible in Buchs and St.Gallen. Students select one of three specialisations: mechanical engineering and product development, electrical engineering and embedded systems, or computer science and AI. Mathematics and science fundamentals come first, and the engineering core follows. Students can change between full-time and part-time models at the start of any semester. Graduates can handle mechanical, electronic and software systems together.
