MA/MS in Criminal Analysis and Trace Evidence

The Master's in criminal analysis and trace evidence trains students to control the collection of data and traces, the processing methods and the theories needed to interpret criminal phenomena, and to become a criminal analyst. Physical and digital traces are treated as elementary data, an approach known as traceology. The programme draws on data science methods to evaluate, process, manage and analyse large, complex, varied and interconnected datasets, producing analyses that inform decisions. It is organised in partnership with the School of Criminology of the University of Montreal, and some courses may be taught in English.
