Overview

The associate programme trains audiometry technicians who carry out hearing and balance tests under the supervision of ENT physicians. Students learn to determine when a patient needs a hearing aid and to fit it, and they develop English for professional use. The programme started in the 2015-2016 academic year and includes an internship. Graduates receive an associate degree and the title Odyometri Teknikeri, and may transfer by DGS to physics, audiology or hearing-impaired teaching departments.

Admission Requirements: Central YKS placement with the TYT score type. The programme offers 48 places; the lowest placement score in the 2026 guide was 331 (success rank 545,475).

Application Details

Application Process: Turkish applicants list the programme among their choices (tercih) in ÖSYM's central placement after the YKS results each July; international applicants apply directly to the university's international student office under the YÖS quota, usually between May and August.
