Overview

Chemical Technology is a two-year associate degree programme at the Muğla Vocational School, taught in Turkish in daytime mode. It builds core chemistry knowledge and laboratory skills, with courses taught by associate professors and lecturers and supported by technical field visits and modern teaching tools. Graduates receive an associate degree and the title Kimya Teknikeri (chemical technician). The programme prepares intermediate staff who can design and analyse chemical processes, solve practical problems, work independently or in teams, and follow scientific developments in the chemical industry.

Admission Requirements: Placement through the national YKS exam, TYT score type, via ÖSYM central placement. 25 places; lowest placement score 321.7 in 2026 (success rank 624,067). Applicants must reach the department's minimum placement score.

Application Details

Application Process: Turkish applicants list the programme among their choices (tercih) in ÖSYM's central placement after the YKS results each July; international applicants apply directly to the university's international student office under the YÖS quota, usually between May and August.
