MA/MS in Accounting and Related Services

This master's program in professional accounting is designed for graduates who already hold an undergraduate accounting degree and want to move into more senior roles. Students who can show proof of the required prerequisite courses can finish in two semesters. The coursework covers advanced accounting, taxation, auditing and law. It is arranged to support preparation for the CPA Exam and adds up to the 150 credit hours that New York State requires for CPA licensure. Classes are small, taught in person mostly by full-time faculty, and many of those instructors are CPAs themselves. Evening scheduling gives working students room to fit study around their jobs. The curriculum builds directly on the accounting knowledge a candidate gained as an undergraduate, so the program moves quickly into advanced material.
