Cert in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering

This certificate is meant for people who want hands-on roles with the robotic and electro-mechanical equipment found in modern manufacturing, logistics and warehousing. Technologists apply electrical and mechanical knowledge to run and maintain automated systems. Graduates gain hands-on practice with electrical instruments and measuring devices and learn to read specifications and schematic diagrams, with a focus on safe work habits. The certificate follows a short, set sequence of courses, and students are encouraged to meet with an advisor when planning their schedule so the credential fits their goals. Cape Cod Community College is a public community college in Massachusetts, and this credential gives students a focused way to build workplace skills in a compact timeframe. Prospective students can review the full list of required courses and credits in the online catalog, and the admissions office can explain application steps, placement testing and available support services.
