BA/BS in Business Administration, Management and Operations

The business management bachelor of science builds broad knowledge of management ideas and how they apply in practice. It links analytical, behavioral and conceptual theory to the challenges organizations face, whether commercial or nonprofit. Students learn to approach management situations in an orderly way and to solve problems that arise from both people and systems. The flexible workload makes it possible to pair the major with another discipline, and a liberal arts foundation runs through the degree. The major is offered on the Oakland campus and as a fully online option, and a three-year plan using summer online courses is available. Junior or senior students may apply to an accelerated route that allows up to nine MBA credits, and transfer students can bring up to 90 credits.
