Program details

Overview

This associate of science was built by a group of Washington community and four-year colleges as a transfer pathway into bioengineering and chemical engineering. It follows a Major Related Program outline, and receiving universities may set slightly different expectations. Students are advised to complete a whole science sequence at one school, since that improves how credits move. The degree is not a direct transfer agreement, so some general education courses remain to be taken after transfer. Clark adds a health and physical education requirement beyond the shared outline, and its residency rules apply. Completers receive the same admission priority as direct transfer graduates and enter at junior standing. Working closely with an engineering faculty advisor is strongly encouraged.
