Program details

Overview

Intended for students who have previously finished a two-year or four-year degree, this American Bar Association approved program prepares paralegal professionals to work independently under attorney supervision. The general legal education includes civil procedure, research and writing for law, office technology, torts, evidence and business transactions, plus specialty areas. Legal specialty courses taken through synchronous instruction are required. Being admitted to the college does not ensure a place, so students must apply separately to the certificate program.
