Cert in Legal Support Services

This certificate follows the same law courses as the associate degree in paralegal studies. It is meant for legal secretaries, government employees seeking advancement and people changing careers. Graduates may support lawyers within firms, public agencies or companies. The program holds American Bar Association approval, and applicants must already hold an associate or bachelor's degree. Students plan a course sequence with their advisor. The program sits within the School of Business & Legal Studies at Bucks County Community College, and totals 30 credit hours. Students who want to move on to a degree should speak with an advisor about how the certificate courses fit into their longer plans. Prospective students can ask the school office for questions about scheduling, course prerequisites and how the program fits their goals.
