AA/AS in Registered Nursing, Nursing Administration, Nursing Research and Clinical Nursing

Students in this associate degree rehearse the situations nurses meet daily using high-fidelity patient simulators and standard clinical equipment. Schedules are available without a waiting list for program entry, and course sections run at varied times from morning into the evening. Clinical placements in local health care facilities, together with service learning abroad and overseas study options, add depth to a resume. Student groups include the Student Nurses' Association and Nurse Christian Fellowship. The statewide curriculum is organized around the NCLEX licensing exam, and bridge and step-in options exist for licensed practical nurses. The 66-credit program is taught on the Elkhorn, Kenosha, and Racine campuses, with starts in spring, summer, and fall. Graduates become registered nurses in hospitals, clinics, home health, and hospice.
