Overview

Students planning to move on to a university in computer or electrical engineering can use this transfer degree. It folds in general education courses from the first two years and supplies the background needed before upper-level study. The degree does not aim to meet general education rules at the next school. Rather, it prepares students to start at junior standing with major coursework already in place. Coursework is taken from an approved list of classes numbered 100 or higher, with a limit on pass/no-pass grades, and students are advised to add some at the 200 level. A cumulative GPA of 2.0 and a minimum number of credits earned at Green River are required. Students should confirm course choices and policies with their intended transfer school.
