AA/AS in Computer Engineering

The Computer Engineering program at Community College of Baltimore County leads to an Associate of Science in Engineering. It is taught in person on the Catonsville and Dundalk campuses. Coursework begins with logic and design, introductory engineering design, electronics and electricity, and calculus, then moves into programming and electronic circuits. English and communication courses sit alongside the technical sequence. The curriculum map is built for students who have finished any developmental coursework and bring no transfer credits. Taking 33 credits each year lets a student complete the degree in two years. Learners are encouraged to meet an advisor to adjust their plan as they go. Students interested in transferring or entering engineering fields will find a structured path with room to talk to an advisor about adjustments along the way.
