Program details

Overview

The Criminal Justice degree opens with a shared core in the first year, providing interdisciplinary education for future law enforcement students. The curriculum builds in industry-standard certificates and keeps transfer routes to bachelor's programs open. In the fourth semester students may take the state peace officer academy. It is optional, though most students on this track choose it. Completing the academy lets graduates leave with both an associate degree and state academy certification, subject to passing the state test.
