AA/AS in Music

The Music associate degree at John A. Logan College is built for students who plan to finish a bachelor's degree elsewhere. It spans two years and covers the lower-division coursework that a four-year university expects from majors in this subject. Students interested in performance can also look at the college's separate music performance fine arts degree. The curriculum mixes general education requirements with courses in the field, laid out by semester in an online program guide. Students should check the receiving university's own admission and course rules before choosing electives, and an academic advisor at the college can help plan the sequence. Application to the college is made online through the page's apply link, and the program page points to the tuition and fees page for cost estimates.
