AA/AS in Music

The music department welcomes aspiring professionals and creative learners. Students can earn an associate of arts in voice or in instrumental music, and every major may join the performance ensembles. Ensembles include choirs, a marching band, jazz and symphonic bands and woodwind and brass groups. Faculty-led instruction is combined with regular performances across the region, and graduates have continued at well-known music schools and universities. The page lists a typical length of 4 semesters, with a combined cost of $16,500 for tuition, fees and books. Students can find financial aid, scholarship information and class schedules through links on the program page. As a community college pathway, it is meant to be approachable for students at different stages, whether they are starting college for the first time, changing careers or collecting credits to continue elsewhere. Prospective students can use the enrollment link on the program page to begin.
