Overview
The Master of Accounting is a fast-paced, cohort-based graduate program that helps students meet career goals and certification requirements. The accelerated format lets students complete the degree while taking all parts of the CPA Exam within the program.
Students specialize in either audit and advisory or tax during the program, which runs from August to May. Core graduate seminars deepen technical expertise and build advanced communication, critical thinking and leadership skills, preparing graduates for public accounting, industry, government, nonprofit work or running their own practice.
The School of Accountancy is one of the largest in Georgia and is home to an internationally recognized internal audit center. The program is intended for students with an undergraduate accounting degree, runs full time during the day, without evening or online classes, and requires five prerequisite accounting courses, though applicants need not finish them before applying.
