AA/AS in Accounting and Related Services

The accounting technology program at Linn-Benton Community College prepares students for jobs in accounting, whether inside a company or as an independent consultant. It suits people who enjoy business operations, pay close attention to detail, are at ease with digital tools, and like working on a team. The associate of applied science takes two years. Students choose either a general business track or a healthcare track for those who want to combine accounting with health care settings. A shorter one-year accounting clerk certificate is also offered for entry-level work in payables, receivables, the general ledger, or payroll.
