Cert in Accounting and Related Services

Accounting - Bookkeeper I, Short-Term Technical Certificate sits in the Engineering, Business and IT division at LCCC. The program prepares students for clerical bookkeeping positions and also covers routine payroll preparation. A second bookkeeping certificate continues from this one for students who want further skills. The plan runs across three terms and totals twenty-one credit hours. Course requirements and sequencing are published in the 2026-2027 catalog, which also lists program contacts and advising information. Prospective students can compare the plan of study with their own goals before enrolling, and the college notes that credit for prior learning may be available in some programs, so asking an advisor early is sensible.
