AA/AS in Agricultural Business and Management

Students study how crops, livestock and farm finances fit together in modern agriculture. Coursework and fieldwork cover soil sampling, pest identification, herd management, precision agriculture and equipment use. Graduates can run or manage a farm, enter agribusiness, or move toward a bachelor's degree through transfer agreements with UW-River Falls and UW-Platteville. Completing the program leads to an Associate in Applied Science degree from Mid-State Technical College, with 61-62 credits required and a planned length of two years. Classes are offered at Marshfield. The program page also lists campus locations, start terms and estimated costs so applicants can plan ahead, and prospective students can request information or begin an application through the college website. Applicants should review the page for current program details, course information and enrollment steps before enrolling.
