AA/AS in Criminal Justice and Corrections

Students study policing, corrections and advocacy for communities while building critical thinking and communication skills. Teaching combines lectures, simulated scenarios and practical exercises. Eligible students may apply for the Law Enforcement 720 Academy, taken in the fourth semester, which earns certification and counts toward the degree. Completing the program leads to an Associate in Applied Science degree from Mid-State Technical College, with 61 credits required and a planned length of two years.
