The Chef Training Certificate prepares students for beginner roles across the food-service sector. It is run through the School of Business and Hospitality, with instruction taking place on the Rome campus. Students develop technical competence in preparing food through practical instruction and field experience, and they learn how sound business principles apply to food service. Learning happens in full-service kitchens and a dining room, where participants prepare and serve meals in a working setting. The program lasts nine months.
